An excellent example of an early general purpose bottle in the shape of a whiskey bottle, this one is complete with its original label marked, "A. A. French's Double Distilled Bay Rum, St. Thomas." A very light aqua color, it stands 11 1/2" with a 2 3/4" diameter base. Most of the original label is intact. This must be described as a truly choice Civil War piece.
