Arrival of General Banks and Staff on the transport North Star in New Orleans. A sketch of Fort Negley near Nashville. The double page sketch is a wonderfully detailed drawing of the charge of Humphrey's division at Fredericksburg - most impressive. Another full page devoted to Fredericksburg scenes and one to Holly Springs, Mississippi. Two great political cartoons and a plethora of advertisements, many illustrated. A sixteen page paper, complete and in overall excellent condition except for the separation of the outside pages.
