F263a - Farrier's Knife

117.50
This is the tool that the cavalry troop or the farrier responsible for the horses needed to keep handy. A 4_" x _" bone handle is attached to a 7" iron blade turned back at the end to make a scraper to clean the horses' hooves. Three metal pegs attach the handle to the blade. This one is particularly interesting because the bone handle shows the full internal bone marrow and is in excellent condition. This is an essential artifact for a cavalry display.
