The regulation, Civil War crossed sabers worn on cavalry hats and kepis, this one is in fine condition with no dents or dings. It has no wire attachments on the back, and it appears it never did, probably coming from a stack of insignia that were never finished & never issued. It has a very attractive, even bright brass finish. Most handsome.
