This black pencil case measures 7_" x 2_". The cover is embossed with gilt lettering and two gilt round seals. The inside cover is lined with cream paper and marks the five grades of pencil in French and English. There are slots for five pencils, but none remain. The box shows evidence of use, but it will make a nice addition to a letter-writing or home school display. This is only the second of these I have ever come across
