This is a rectangular plate measuring 2_" x 2" made of brass, complete with rear hooks. The corners are clipped, as noted in Kerksis, some having South Carolina markings, some markings of unknown origin, and some (like this one) plain. This one is non-dug and is in exceptionally fine condition with a handsome, semi-bright finish. It comes from the George Whiting collection.
